ABOUT OUR STAFF AND CLINIC

THE TEAM

Larry Freshour, PT, Owner

Graduating from the University of New Mexico in 1995, Larry has worked as a physical therapist in New Mexico, Idaho, and Washington. Helping patients in a variety of settings, he has worked in acute care hospitals, a regional burn unit, a level 1 trauma unit, nursing homes, outpatient clinics, and home health services. Larry has extensive continuing education and is one of the few Physical Therapists in Washington to be licensed in sharp debridement. While he has a background as a triathlete, martial artist, climber and whitewater kayaker, Larry is currently obsessed with fly fishing for trout.

A Physical Therapist Assistant since 2010, Candace received her Associate of Applied Science degree from Spokane Falls Community College. Candace works closely with Larry and Maya to provide the best care to each of her patients. When she’s not at work, Candace enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She loves to ski and snowmobile in the area’s mountains and she is a member of the Flying Irish Running Club.

Michele received her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Montana in 2007 and has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings in Massachusetts, Montana and Washington. Being a physical therapist is the culmination of her lifelong interest in health and wellness, years participating in athletics, and enthusiasm for patient education and care.  Michele loves spending time with her family, physical activity, reading, podcasts, baking, volunteering, and pursuing that elusive work/life balance. That balance now focuses more on her two young sons, but she continues to be part of the Achieve Physical Therapy team.

Emily has been happily employed at Achieve since 2012. She previously worked at an infant-only day care and has worked as a nanny. Emily adores her pets – an older border collie/lab named Mesa, an energetic border collie/boxer mix named Porter, and a sweet chinchilla named Ozzie Ozwald. Emily recently accomplished one of her life goals and bought her first home; she plans to renovate it and plant a large garden. Emily is still uncertain what she wants to be when she “grows up,” but she is so happy to work with some of the most generous and helpful people she knows.
